My girlfriend bought me a rogue strongman sandbag for my birthday. It's the bright green one, so I can see it better, plus she knows I like bright colors.

Our tree is finally gone. I had fun watching the tree guy, I did a little ground stuff with my uncle growing up, and my brother is in that business, so it made me think of him.

I ordered the shorts version of the swoveralls I bought when I had COVID last summer. Like the longer version I find the shorts to be very comfortable.

We needed a new starter string for our old lawnmower, but misplaced the one we had. Out on one of our walks, we saw someone with a battery operated mower, and it was quiet. He said it worked well, and he's had it for a while, so we got one. Now, mowing isn't nearly as annoying.

On a whim, I bought Swoveralls, made from sweatpants material. I found them to be very comfortable. It might be all I wear the rest of this winter.

I got a new monitor. I didn't need it, but I wanted on with an actual power button and I thought the touch screen would be nice. It's been a few months now that I have had my Dell P2418HT for a few months now. Here's my quick review.

I forget when I bought our printer but it's been flawless other than toner replacements. No Jams and it even accepts the cheap toner which is good enough for our purposes. Sure beats the hell out of the cheaper inject printers that dried up all the time.

On a whim I bought a Carson Blackwave 10x50 Monocular because it was cheap and my old one had warn out. I wouldn't call this telescope perfect for me but it seems good and cheap enough I can always have it out which is handy being visually impaired.

For my birthday this year I was given a Garmin 66s. I really like it. It takes the good from the Garmin 62s I had but has a better GPS chip or at least it seems to.

My old headphones served me well until I got the cable caught in the chair and broke it. I took that as a good opportunity to pick up Bluetooth ones. I got Sennheiser HD 4.40s and really like the sound of them.

I upgraded from my old Garmin 62s to the 64s. I really do like it. Signal wise, it's not quite as good as the old trusty 60csx, but there are other features that make up for that.

I have been on the hunt for a 32 kg kettlebell for the garage. The normal place we got them before locally changed the coating and I didn't like it. I bought a Kettlebell Kings one and really like it.

My old trusty Vanguard DM 8250 telescope wore out. That was a perfect one for me, and sadly, they don't seem to make them anymore. The hunt begins for something else.

Dystopia is really dark sludgy stuff. I rediscovered them recently but used to hear them on the college radio station back in the 1990s. Good raw music to ruin any day.

The thing about being visually impaired is like I am is I can never have too many magnifiers lying around. I don't like fancy ones. I like cheap ones. I came across this Bausch & Lomb one on Amazon that looked like it'd be the type i like to use.

I've been using NiMH batteries for years. I've had a great Maha battery charger that I've used most of those years until I spilled water in it today. It's so rare that you find something that just works anymore I'm not looking forward to finding a new one.

Our Linksys router started acting up. I have been fed up with things lasting only until the warranty is up, so I have decided to look into other options. I settled on the MikroTik RouterBOARD RB2011 and have been really pleased with it.

Molly gave me a Creative Zen Vision W for my birthday. It's been really great to use and so nice to be able to listen to music on my headphones in bed with it. It's got a Large hard drive and actually physical buttons to control it!
