I glanced at the weather during the commercials last night while watching the Phillies game and saw a frost advisory was active. I brought the hibiscus into the garage.

This week is the complete opposite of the weather last week. I glanced at the NWS forecast this morning and it's the first time I've seen snow in the forecast this fall.

After the recent very mild period, a cold front moved through. We're back into the more normal fifties range for the high temperatures, instead of the seventies.

This autumn, the leaves around Mount joy are seemingly more colorful than usual. They are much more vivid than I have seen them in this area since I've lived here.

We were leaving the grocery store near sunset this evening and I noticed some cumulus clouds off to the northwest. I also noted some virga under it. That was probably snow flurries

It's pretty windy tonight I am hearing the occasional gust outside. It's really reminding me of going to the mountains growing up. I'd often hear the wind blowing at night during the fall and hunting season

We had a pretty good thunderstorm last night. Being in the middle of the night in the middle of November I was really impressed with it since conditions are not great for thunderstorms here in the fall.

Every fall I think of how since I moved to Mount Joy, the leaves are not nearly as vivid as they were where I grew up. I've always been curious why that is, too.
