Got Out For A Nice Walk After Voting

The day start out fairly chilly early this morning but that is reasonable and seasonable for early November. We did a bit of if shopping. We came home and put the food away and decided to walk over to our local polling place to vote. There was no line really which is sad but convenient before us. Everyone should vote.

To make things interesting I almost signed in the wrong box in the book. damned visual impairment.

Once that was done we came home and put shorts on to get out to find a few geocaches in town and take advantage of this amazing early November weather. The temperature was in the lower 70s early afternoon when went out.

The original though was we were going to go somewhere a bit further away and get a nice view of the leaves from a higher vantage point. With running around and voting it got later so we are going to save that and not be rushed.

The parks in own are fairly nice and there were a few caches that we haven’t found so it was the perfect opportunity to get a couple of miles of walking in and get some sunshine. We haven’t really gotten out at all this year. I think we only grabbed the one cache in Florida. At least we added a new state with that though!

We noticed that the leaves were off of a majority of the trees so I guess it’s not worth planning on seeing the leaves tomorrow. A few colorful ones caught my attention. Right near the parking lot this bright orange one caught my attention
