I’m finally Joining the cell phone world. With the price of cell service dropping and Vonage rising with fees and stuff it was time. My dad’s unexpected sudden death we were on the train to Philly before they pulled the plug. I wouldn’t have been able to call my brother to pick us up at the train station if Molly didn’t have her phone.
I am thinking about setting up a personal Mastodon instance or something similar.

I’ve been using my Antec P182 case for around fifteen years now with no problems at all. I’m on the second computer that’s been in it now. I noticed a fan grinding and upon further inspection noticed another wasn’t spinning.
I’ve had computers for a long time now. Many things have changed. I used to hear all sorts of sounds from my computers that aren’t there any more.
Micro SD carts are so physically tiny. They’re so small and my fingers are so fat that I drop them all the time then have trouble finding them because I caN’t really feel them on the floor or see them with my poor vision

I’ve been wanting to get a new portable music player. It needed to play FLACs, have expandable memory and Bluetooth. I settled on a Fiio M11 after my girlfriend’s Fiio M7 has worked so well for her.
I needed to get a new tablet since my old Samsung was getting itself into a boot loop. I ended up settling on the Asus ZenPad 3s 10 9.7“
My note 5 seemed to be acting up so I bought a used Pixel 2 XL. The camera is excellent and so is the battery life. On my old Note 5 the battery life had gotten very inconsistent.
One frustration I do have with android is that they don’t get security updates in a timely manner. It’s just the way businesses think now. Sell it and forget about it.
I have had a Motorola Droid Max that I bought used a couple of year s ago but I wanted a bigger screen. I found a Note 5 on Swappa so I picked that up. The larger screen has been a big help for me.
I gave Molly an IPod for Christmas. The device itself seems like something I could use. iTunes on windows though is absolutely terrible.
