We were walking past one of the churches in Mount Joy this evening while people were going in and one little girl noticed us and said merry Christmas.

Last night was a great night for our walk. As an added bonus we walked past Mount Joy's Christmas tree while it was lit up and the moon was in a perfect spot

With the remnants of what was Hurricane Ida approaching the area then interacting with a cold front right in our area tomorrow and tomorrow night certainly look to be a mess. I don't know if it will be right here In Mount Joy, but where everything set up, there will be a lot of rain.

We tried a new place for supper, and it was pretty good, I thought. Time 2 Eat had recently opened. It's nearby enough to walk over to grab. It's great to have another option.

It was interesting to hear and see a fighter jet circling over us a few times. It doesn't happen up here like it used to in the Philly suburbs with the bases being nearby.

We got our food and adult slushies for takeout from Joy's Tavern again. It's been good every time. I'm looking forward to going in there when the pandemic settles down.

We went to Little Dippers in Mount Joy for our first time this summer to get ice cream. They have it from the Penn State Creamery and that is hands down some of the best ice cream that I've ever had.

We decided to go to Harvey's BBQ and I got something new for me. I love their pulled pork and brisket but the southern lasagna looked interesting to me. It was good!

We have been meaning to get back to harvey's BBQ for quite a while. Today it worked out that we could walk over. I got their ribs and they were amazing.

We love going to Rosie's Tavola in Mount Joy. They have the best italian food and it's so unique. The drinks are good too plus the fact that it's about a block walk is a good bonus.

We decided to go over to Cove Park for a quick cache. We saw a woolly bear caterpillar on the trail. It got me thinking how my grandparents used to think that their colors predicted the winter.

We had an earthquake really close to home. I either got woken up or was awake when I heard a deep rumbling. I didn't feel anything but sure enough I saw that there was a 3.3 agnitude quake centered just north of Mountville.
