I am switching web hosts and the new one doesn't offer FreeBSD as an option to install. I had to find a way to convert the Linux installation to FreeBSD. Here's how I did it.

I finally got around to moving my Windows 10 installation to an SSD. The loading time at least not insufferable anymore like it was before where it would just sit and spin for minutes at a time. I wish I never needed to use windows.

I don't use Windows that often but when I do it's only because is need to do something that requires it. Windows 10 really seems to pick the worst times for its auto updates.

I'm still happy with and using DesktopBSD on my computer. It makes using the computer fun again. I love the fact that the FreeBSD handbook is online to make it easier to learn.

FreeBSD has always intrigued me but I never got around to trying it out. After trying Linux I thought it's a good time to try DesktopBSD. So far I like it and it's been my go to instead of duel booting into Windows.

I have been wanting to switch to Linux for a while now. At least since the 1990s. In the past it just hasn't worked for me. Kubuntu seems to be working for me now though.
