Brightly Lit Clouds To The East

I was walking through the kitchen right around sunset to go grab myself more water to drink. There was an awesome glow that was shining in the east facing window caught my attention. It was a bright orange so I had to look.

I grabbed my shoes and phone and went outside to look at it. I guess the clouds which cleared out of here earlier today were high enough hand close enough the sun was illuminating them well to the east. This picture was taking right around sunset. I actually believe it was just a few minutes after local sunset.

I zoomed in a lot with this photo to really capture it. I just looked at it for a minute or two to take it in and enjoy it.

This evening it was still in the lower 70s. The dew point had dropped so it felt a lot better. Who would guess we could have had such a nice period of weather in November? Even better is the fact it was when Molly was on vacation. Personally I don’t mind the cold though. Honestly, I enjoy it!

It was really neat to see. Mother Nature is perfect. You just never know what give she might give you at any given time.
