This morning when I woke up it was much milder than yesterday. The temperature was in the middle 50s. The wind was gusty from the south. There were some showers moving through the area. Dawn brought cloudy skies. It was drizzling and in the upper 50s shortly after sunrise. It was humid and into the lower 60s by mid morning. It was still cloudy but into the middle 60s late this morning. The line of thunderstorms split just before getting here around lunchtime so we just had a shower and gusty winds. THe temperature got knocked back into the lower 60s. The sun peeked out after that ended. Early this afternoon we had some heavy showers move through with gusty winds. My rain collector must be clogged. We had a few rumbles of thunder late this afternoon but nothing major. There was a good wind with it though. Early this evening it dropped into the upper 50s with the wind decreasing a bit.
The cold front moved through late this evening. It was one of the sharpest cold fronts I can remember. The temperature dropped 15 degrees in about 5 minutes. By late tonight the rain had chaNged to snow.
