Sunday, July 9, 2023 Weather For Mount Joy, PA Last night was another warm and humid one with the low in the lower 70s. The dew point was in the lower 70s too when I woke up. By mid morning the temperature and dew point were both in the mid 70s under cloudy skies. Late morning brought some sunshine and south easterly winds picking up a bit. There were fast growing cumulus towers. Thunder started shortly after 1:00 PM. We finally had some very heavy thunderstorms move through this afternoon but the bulk of them missed us. We still picked up almost ½ of an inch of rain. The sun came out for a bit after the rain moved off to the east.
