The Flyers Are Using The Philly Sports Karma Up

I have been a Philly sports fan for as long as I can remember. I have learned to have low to zero expectations of any sort. We have been spoiled lately by the Eagles and the Phillies at least being in the run.

The Flyers have sucked balls for as long as I can remember too. Even back in the 1990s, they were missing parts for success.

One fact of life I learned a long time ago is Philly sports teams cannot be successful at the same time. It just won’t happen. The universe does not support such fuckery.

The Flyers have been on a tear. I can’t say I have watched many games, but I did watch the one last night before the Phillies. It was nice to see them shoot the puck and score. That is so much more successful than pass, pass, pass, wind up behind the net, and lose the puck like they did for so many years.

They are a young team, and I think they might be fun to watch for a while. It is nice to have zero expectations.

The Phillies, on the other hand, are back to what they do best. They forget how to hit randomly. It seems crazy to me that they have not fired Kevin Long yet. I feel like fresh blood might help them change their ways instead of the same pattern that keeps happening.

At least the Eagles let the offensive coordinator go. It took too long for that. That should have happened once he had the same crappy plays every week. Run the ball up the middle into the weakest part of the offensive line. If they didn’t have the injuries, it might have worked, but adjustments were never made for the situation.
