Artificial Intelligence

I do not use AI to generate any of my content at all. It is that simple. I would not say I don’t use it at all, though. There are some tools that use it that I find to be very useful. The words and text and even the bits of code I share are all written by me. Just me.

Technically, I use LanguageTool for spell-checking and grammar checking; I only take that as a suggestion. I have toyed with other checkers too, but again, I only use it as a suggestion.

My grammar and spelling are both terrible. I would be the first to admit that. AI stuff, I think, can be great as a tool, but what would be the point of having a personal site if I used AI to generate stuff?

The same goes for the pictures. None of them are generated by AI. I could see a place for that but not on this site. If I ever do use one, I will acknowledge that it was generated by AI.

I have experimented a little with generative AI just to see how it works and stuff but never with any intentions of using it on here. I have used it to create a few memes to send to my girlfriend or things like that. To use it to generate stuff for this website just seems to defeat the entire purpose of it being my personal website, though, doesn’t it?
