Reddit Alternatives

This will be some websites that seem like they could be an alternative to Reddit. Reddit is useful but I sense that they’re following the Digg. It’ll be a shame to lose so much valuable information.

At this time it’s more the like the chicken and the egg. You need users to have an active site but you need the site for the user to go to.

• FlingUp - This one looks decent.
• Lemmy - Lemmy looks interesting. It might get enough traction to be useful but also be hard enough to understand to keep the signal to noise level high
• Tildes - This one looks similar to what Reddit used to be,
• Zsync - This looks reasonable and like it could become decent.
