Summary

The low was a cooler one last night. It got down in to the upper 50s. There was plenty of smoke in the sky and at the surface when I woke up. The temperature rose surprisingly quickly into the upper 70s by late morning. The sky was very hazy and smokey and at times there was a strong odor of smoke in the air. It smelled like pine burning. The air cleared some with a high temperature in the mid 80s. This evening the air quality began to degrade again.
