Weather For Mount Joy, PA On Monday, June 12, 2023

Last night was by far the warmest night of the year. When I woke up about 5:30 AM it was 72 ℉. and that had been the low to that point. The rain had missed us to the east and south overnight. The temperature dropped slightly then it got into the mid 70s this morning. There was some dimmed sun early then overcast skies later. After 23 days without any measurable rain we had.01 inches from a shower around lunchtime. By mid afternoon we had one two showers with a whopping.07 inch of rain. The edge of a thunderstorm caught us with a heavy burst of rain. All said and done we had just under ⅓ of an inch of rain today. Not nearly enough but it’s more than we’ve had in well over a month.
