Weather For Mount Joy, PA On Thursday, June 8, 2023
This morning it was in the upper 40s and very smokey when I woke up at 4:30. The moon was reddish orange with a smell of fire. The AQI from my weather station was hovering around 400 inside the house. It peaked in the 470s I think and the low temperature was in the mid 40s. The surface seemed to be improving around mid morning but there was still thick smoke in the sky with a dim sum. It war med into the upper 60s by then. Before the clouds moved in it was breezy with a high in the middle 70s, Once again the humidity was 25% to 35% this afternoon. There was actually some blue sky visible this afternoon!

The data on this page is collected from my personal weather station. It may not be and is not accurate at times. The Ambient Weather WS-5000 seems to be flaky under certain circumstances. The description is from my own observations.
I put this here for my own personal records. If you find it interesting or useful, that’s great! Especially in the latter half of 2025, I started noticing some flaky readings. I think the weather station is slowly dying. I am doing my best to come up with ways not to show the obvious errors.
