Trees Are Blooming
It seems to be a little later than other years, but last evening, walking across the street, I noticed some flowers on one of the street trees. The flowers are nice to see in the spring, but the trees are far too big to be street trees here.
I am not so sure that this particular tree will be blooming many more springs. It seems to be slowly dying. Last summer it had more dead branches, and the canopy just keeps thinning out. There have been several mushroom blooms in the yard that the tree is next to, so that leads me to believe the roots are dying too.
It is always nice to see things greening up in the spring. For now the lawn is mostly onions and weeds, but the brush across the street is beginning to spring to life.
Tree Flowers

Spring is nature renewing herself. Out of the dark and dreary winter days, new life begins to pop up everywhere. Outside you hear birds everywhere. It is always such a joy to see. I love winter and the cold and snow that come along with it, but there is something special about the freshness of spring.
I could definitely do without the stench of the liquid manure that gets spread around here, but it doesnโt last that long.
