Snow And Burgers On The Grill

This morning it began snowing again. There was another winter weather advisory in effect. We wound up having some heavier snow falling for a bit this morning; it wound down quickly. The light snow and flurries continued to fall all day for the most part.

Last night we planned on having burgers on the grill, but that didn’t work out since we had to run out. We still had the meat, and it would probably have been no good tomorrow. Molly had them on the grill, and the snow started picking up.

The neat thing was that the entire sky became a bright pink. It almost looked neon outside. Between the bright pink sky and the fresh white snow, everything just had a unique glow to it. Even the air did with the moderate snow falling. I don’t recall seeing a glow like that in the past. I guess it was just perfect timing: snow, sunset, and clearing skies approaching.

It is not what normal people consider eating during the winter, but we love to have burgers cooked on the grill and do it ever so often when the weather looks okay during the winter for it. Also, I am not normal and never once claimed to be normal. I have no desire at all for it.

The burgers were great too!
