Day Before The Storm Sunrise

This morning I noticed a bit of a glow between the blinds when I went to the bathroom. Peeking out, I noticed a nice sunrise in the making.

I threw my shoes on and went outside to watch it and get pictures of it. It was certainly cold outside with a slight breeze and temperatures in the single digits, but it was well worth seeing the sunrise.

I wanted to take it in and grab a picture of it. If you buy into the local news and social media hype, this snowstorm and arctic air intrusion will be the end of the world. I wanted to share the joy before that.

I can never get enough sunrises or sunsets. This one was a really impressive one, although the colors were closer to the horizon and more concentrated than they can be at times. I was able to zoom in enough with my phone’s camera to really capture it, and I was happy with how this photo looked compared to real life.

It stinks that the ugly garage is there, but I guess people need some place to store their junk.

Pre Storm Sunrise

This picture shows a red, orange, pink, and gray horizon from a sunrise. It's just above a garage roof.
