RootBSD

Next up on my growing list of previous hosts was RootBSD. By this time I had been mostly running FreeBSD on my desktop computer, and I was comfortable with it. I was also fed up with Linux and wanted to get away from cPanel.

This company was rated highly enough on the FreeBSD forums. They fit the niche that I wanted. By this time, FreeBSD web hosting was not as readily available.

The service worked great for me. I don’t remember for sure why I moved on, but I think it was because I found a better deal.

For me, the service always just worked. I don’t think I ever remember having any downtime.
