My next move in hosting was to HTPPme. This was my first time exploring other options in hosting. I needed to upgrade to shared web hosting to host my brother’s business site. Perusing WebHostingTalk, I saw they were pretty highly rated and had good technical support.

The support was something that I thought I might need at the time. I never did beyond looking for tips on their forums.

I think at some point when I was using the service, the company was sold.

It was my first time using cPanel hosting. By today’s standards, I remember it being a pretty expensive service, but I knew that even back then going into it. They had the highly rated support, which I thought I possibly required, to be available.

I remember one significant downtime.
