Database By Design

After a while I got the urge to move again. This time the driving force was the silly idea that I wanted my server to be in Philly again. I came across Database By Design selling a VPS that had FreeBSD available, so I went with them.

That service worked great for me, and the network was fast. The only downtime I had with them, they actually emailed us about, and they offered a discount. I did not take them up on that offer because shit happens.

I used them for a while and was happy with them. Eventually upgrading between major FreeBSD versions, I screwed up and lost access to ssh. They did not have a control panel or anything like what is available now, so I had no access. I cut my losses and moved on with my backups.
